Leaders, Simply fill out this template to create a faction. It will be checked and approved by Siroki before the game begins.
Faction Name (Adjective): Deity: Leader*: Paragon* (Type): Basic Faction Description: Unique Unit**: PM Siroki with what you'd like your Unique Unit (and its Unique Ability) to be. Once it's approved, it'll be listed here.
*These will have custom NPC profiles created for them. As such, you must PM either Siroki Adminson or the Architect with a picture that you wish to use as the profile's avatar. It can be a chathead from RuneScape or another image that is not necessarily related to RS. **A Unique Unit is essentially a standard land unit with the same basic stats: 3 HP, 2 Damage, 2 Effective/Ineffective ratings, and a Move Range dependent on its PCS. What sets it apart is a trait or ability that only it can use, which is why it must be approved by Siroki.

Faction Name (Adjective): Kingdom of Brantia (Brantian) Deity: Saradomin Leader: King Thaddeus Hale Paragon (Type): Captain-General Gregor Reinholt (General)
Basic Faction Description: Founded on the shores of Lake Falador, the Kingdom of Brantia aims to spread the light of Saradomin's teachings in a dark world. It is simple, hardworking, and honest, and King Hale wishes to preserve the humility of the kingdom's beginnings even as it grows in both size and power.
Unique Unit: Crown Infantry - powerful battle-mages who excel against Melee and Ranged, but are susceptible to Magic and Cavalry. They can attack with spell and sword-staff, defend with tower shields, and absorb 50% damage for 1 full Battle Round; this defensive enchantment, dubbed "Sanctuary", requires 2 BRs to recharge.
HP: 3 Damage: 2 Range: 1 Move: 5 Effectiveness: Melee, Ranged | Magic, Cavalry Unique Ability: Sanctuary (Cooldown: 2 BRs)

Faction Name (Adjective): The East Gielinor Trading Company (Desertlings) Deity: The Menaphitic Pantheon of Gods Leader*: The Board of Seven, a Group of seven large families that determine the policy of the EGTC. Spokesperson of this group is Proclamator Ali Jiybr. Paragon* (Type): Bombardier-General Murad Demirayak, Commander of the Bombardier Corps and all Unified Desertling Armies of the EGTC and Kaledam. (Warlord Paragon)
Basic Faction Description: The Eastern Gielinor Trading Company has been founded in the city of Kaledam, a former refugee city of the Al-Kharid Emirate, and also a former Caravansary and/or Kharidian Fortress. While the nation is (very) far from perfect, the EGTC definitely shows signs of promise, a relieving sight in a Kaledam that has been falling into disrepair for well over a decade.
Unique Unit: Bombardiers - The Bombardier is an elite and highly-disciplined Ranged unit that is capable of shredding through Magic and Melee Troops (but not so effective against Cavalry or Archer Units) that is nicknamed the "Silent Warrior" as their trademark facemask-helmets inhibit speech (a drawback designed to prevent dissident. Officer Masks use enchanted gems to actually amplify speech). But the Bombardier is more than just an effective battlemage-killer: After every successful battle in which it has shed enemy blood, it gains a permanent increase in health and damage (+1HP and +1 DMG per level), which continues until it masters its lethal craft after 15 battles.

Faction Name (Adjective): The Rhynoc tribe of the Frozen North Deity: Bandos Leader*:Chieftain Langraws Sharphorn Paragon* (Type):(General)Warmonger Sigurd Swiftcharge
Basic Faction Description: Many a people have heard of the god Bandos even after his rather pitiful defeat/demise not long into the 6th age yet even in the 7th age his 'barbaric' teachings still live on. A odd race that ended up naming themselves 'Rhynocs' were born out of the chaos the Invention inflicted on the anima mundi causing a herd of 'royal' rhinos to twist and warp into their current form . This new race although very young has already established itself and has been growing fast, they adopted Bandos's dogma as only a guide which has worked out favorably to keep order and now they seek to expand and trade with other factions and races.
unique unit: Rhynoc fighters:
As with most races there are 'sub-races' within them, Rhynoc fighters are a particular sub race that are destinct for having their horn/s grow on thier foreheads not on their musels. In particular the warmonger Sigurd Swiftcharge is a particularly large Rhynoc fighter however he has 'transended' the main 'flaw' of rhynoc fighters which is their rage. When a Rhynoc fighter is dealt a killing blow they have a 10% to 50% chance of enduring it after which they revert to primal instinct getting on all 4s like thier ancestors increasing their power by 3x(i believe it is still 3x?)but rendering them uncontrolable for the 2 turns they are able to do this for before essentualy being rendered incompacitated from burning all of that adrenaline/energy.
Also they fight with metal gauntlets pretty much they fight hand to hand
Stats:
Strong against melee and ranged, weak against magic and cavalry
3 hp 2 damage 1 range 5 move
Upon being killed has a 10% to 50% chance of living and in turn reverting back to a primitive state causing their power to increase by 3x but rendering them uncontrollable, after 2 turns they are rendered pretty much incapacitated or just revert back to normal status.
And siroki if you see something incorrect with this telling of it well as usual just pm me i guess
If I did something incorrectly please notify me

Faction Name (Adjective): Third Kingdom of Camelot (Logres, for short; Logrian) Deity: Armadyl Leader*: William Pedragon II High Chronicler ((Posting NPC)): Lord Geoffery Tarviin Paragon* (Type): Alfred Dwarfborn (Inventor)
Basic Faction Description: After the Second Kingdom of Camelot fell in the seventh year of the Sixth Age, the surviving heir Alfred Pendragon I ("the exile") fled with a good part of the Logrian inhabitants to Tirannwn, a place little touched by the wars. However, after Alfred I's son, Edward Draconic, fell in battle defending the Arandar Pass, Alfred I's nephew had had enough of the elves. He, along with the heir to the throne Alfred, who would become Alfred Pendragon II, led many of the Logrians and several elves back to the lands of Camelot in the year 48 of the Sixth Age and seized the land from the then-Saradominist leadership. Thus was established the Third Kingdom of Camelot.
The Cataclysm rendered Alfred Pendragon II's militaristic upbringing obsolete, and therefore he passed on the throne to his eldest son William Pendragon I in the year 21 of the Seventh Age. William I would reign for seventy-seven years (because f the elven blood in his veins) and brought peace and prosperity to the kingdom. Another important note is that William I was the first Pendragon to serve a deity: Armadyl (his mother, who raised him, had grown up in the region where Armadyleanism is popular). He only abdicated in the year 98 of the Seventh Age, when his great-grandson, also named William, was the effective heir to the throne. William Pendragon II now rules Camelot in much the same way as his father, serving peace, innovation, and Armadyl.
Unique Unit: Windcallers -- Powerful, elite mages who can summon windstorms to confuse enemies with dust on land and tear rigging to pieces at sea, as well as doing low damage to enemy soldiers/crew.
(EDIT: Added Unique Unit and revised formatting.)

Faction Name: Free People of MoryTania Deity: Zamorak Leader*: Master of Arms, Lord Lestor Wein (Puppet of the Paragon) Paragon* (Inventor):Mumm'Rha, The Ever Living
Basic Faction Description: After the Sudden end of the Six Age in the Event Known as the Cataclysm, The people of South Myre Had Enough. Following the Leader Ship of Lord Lestor Wein. With his Reputation and connections among the MoryTania people, he was able to recover the South Myre into a suitable state into continuing its expansion. To the Residents surprise, He started to talk about how, with the Power of Zamorak, his people will Flourish. This type of behavior was not uncommon to men of Lestors age, who start saying that the Gods are the ones guiding us to our paths. Even more so due to the fact that He was always a man of action and not Superstition. Confident that there Leader new found and growing Devotion to Zamorak was routine if not a little odd, they continued to support him and his ideals for it improved upon there lives. and being repressed for the time they have been, they started to take heart in Lord Lestors teachings, the idea of them now doing the kicking. There has been whispers of some rather odd news though. It is said that Lord Lestor's behavior started to change after Employing a new Advisor, said to be a man older then Lestor himself. Considering that not very many people live to be past Lord Lestor's age, they believe its this old man who filled his head, and now there own with the Teaching. And Frankly, they are happy for it. Zamorak will wash all away in the tide known as Chaos!!
Unique Unit : Zombies - Classic - A Melee troop strong against melee and Magic, weak against ranged and Cavalry. Description - A weak Melee unit, cannot be recruited like a regular troop. instead, a Corpse Collector (doubles as a scout group) may be sent to controlled region or an adjacent region after a mass death of some kind to collect bodies within 2 turns of the event. A percentage of all dead bodies will be turned into Zombies. That's right, its about to get Old School up in here, hope you brought your 20 sided dice..... and yes, they Dance.

Faction Name (Adjective): The Third Zarosian Empire Deity: Zaros (ZarooooOOOoooooo) Leader*: Concilium Dux Neil Allenby Paragon* (Type): Pontifex Maximus Andreus Agatho (Diplomatic Paragon)
Basic Faction Description: The Zarosians were exterminated in all but legacy, infamy, and stories by the Invention's use. The last remnants of their way were the 'seeds' of a new generation, a group of able-minded, strong individuals capable of rising to the challenge of taking care of the new world. To them, the world was their garden, and it was their duty to keep it safe, healthy, and to help those that live on the planet to find a way to co-exist. Unique Unit**: Equitbus Silencio (or Silent Riders). Cavalry unit, strong against Magic and Ranged, weak against Melee and Cavalry
Silent riders cannot initiate attack, they may only retaliate, in which they deal 2x base damage back to the enemy.

Flying Dutchman reporting in!
----- Faction Name (Adjective): The Serenite Realm, demonym Serenites (also known as 'Children of the Lost Voice' or 'Mutes') Deity: Seren Motto: "Our Time is Nigh" Leader: Lady Songstress Cyrista Royse (also known as The Lost Voice) Paragon (Type): Warchief Marwyn Gerillar (general type and posting npc - battle) Lorekeeper: Printmaster Vix Tippwix (posting npc - lore) Herald: High Herald Tarynde Vasaull (posting npc - general/diplomatic)
Basic Faction Description: The Cataclysm tore the Crystal Goddess Seren away from the elves, rendering them no longer able to hear her voice. Believing that Seren had abandoned them for no reason, the elves turned their backs on her. For a century afterwards they wandered the forests of Tirannwn alone, gradually regressing to a more primitive state in which they took up a ruthless attitude to their home and to their enemies, pillaging whatever they needed and never staying in one place. Over time they lost their - now useless - ability to sing to Seren altogether, and the art became lost in time. That is, until one day the elves heard a song coming from deep within the forest. They tracked it down and found out the source was a young elf named Cyrista Royse, who had a message for them: Seren had not abandoned them but had been forcefully silenced by those from across the mountains, and it was now time for the elves to take their rightful revenge. Royse's song of bitterness and vengeance struck a chord with the savage elves, and they united under her banner. Royse, now bearing the title Lady Songstress, founded the elves' new capital Seren Song on the very spot where she had been first heard, and promised her people that they would soon spill out from the dark forest, over the mountains and into the world to reclaim it and install elves as its keepers and guardians. For now, she is biding her time, building forces and gathering strength. But that time is soon to come to an end, and when it does... You better be prepared.

Hey guys - I just watned to check to see if you guyse were okay with the following proposition:
Amascut, aka Fangride, wishes to join our motley group as the faction in the Southern Reaches. The only caveat is that he wishes to play as an Amascut faction instead of the planned Marimbo faction. I just wanted to know if you guys were okay with this change in exchange for a new player :3
Let me know~ Shankies.

I'm okay with it, sure, and I guess she isn't really part of the Menaphite Pantheon anyway? I like it better than Marimbo, to be honest.

Post by Architect on Aug 31, 2014 14:56:10 GMT -5
We have a lot of Marimbo stuff already set up, even though it was a reserve faction. Amascut = Desert = Apmeken = Monkey = Marimbo; it can all be linked with a bit of creativity on Fangride's part. And we've already established that the god of your god-faction doesn't have to be that heavily involved. The leaders of Fangride's faction may use Marimbo to rally... monkeys...? to their cause, but in reality, they serve Amascut. Hell, they could even change Marimbo into the Devourer (of bananas). "Party God" is 100% not serious and really inappropriate for God Wars, so in fact, if he made Marimbo into a new Devourer, that would be quite helpful.
I'll go with the general sentiment on this. We can change the faction completely to Amascut if we can find/create a symbol and/or change the various Marimbo colors to something Amascut would use. For now, tell Fangride that in our lore, Amascut is no longer crazy and no longer interested in Gielinor; she's busy actually doing her job in the Underworld for the first time in a few thousand years. See if he's willing to work with that (and will NOT try to summon her back and let her take over Menaphos, because that would be OP).

She's a part of my Menaphite Pantheon. She's on some of the coins and everything. Although, if I'm honest, the version of Amascut worshipped but mostly not talked about in Kaledam is either a reformed version or the previous version, so if Fang uses the Devourer version, then it'll all be good.
Anyways, I'm a bit on the fence. On one hand, it's a new person. On another hand, it COULD prove really chaotic lore-wise to explain why Amascut-worshippers aren't some cult in Kaledam. On the same note, the Eastern Half of the World already looks to be shaping up to be a colossal bloodbath. A new faction that is right at the southern part of the world could possibly make the Conflict balance across the world to be even more lopsided.
So, uhh...
No offense to Fang, but I'm voting... uhh... well, it feels wrong to vote yes, and feels wrong to vote no. Can I phone a friend?
Uhh...
EDiT: After resolving to flip a coin, I vote (EDiT2: a very tentative and very open to change) yes.

|
Post by Lime on Aug 31, 2014 15:01:58 GMT -5
No, it was a US standard issue nickel from 1994.
EDiT: Because I am still unhappy with my vote, I change my vote to a very tentative and subject to change "no." EDiT2: Because I am still unhappy with my vote, I change my vote to a very tentative and subject to change "yes."

I've heard the term "swing vote", but this is just ridiculous!
10/10 Jaspun
Edit: By the way, we can easily move Amarimbo's starting continent to the west, south of Feldip, if we need to. Or have it in the original position (south of Karamja). Secrecy doesn't matter if the person will be joining in Turn 2. I'd prefer moving it west, so that there's some potential PvP contention for Feldip.

Faction Name (Adjective): Empire of the Sin Eaters (Sin Eaters) Deity: Amascut Leader*: Tlazol the Cleansed Paragon* (Type): Llanwyn Ganshire, Ambassador of the Sin Eaters
Basic Faction Description: During the calamity of the sixth age, something miraculous happened. Amascut the Devourer was cleansed. But even this came at a cost - her mind. Now once again following the mantra of rebirth, but still trapped into a violent cycle, Amascut's goal was to cleanse the world. Her followers, known as the Sin Eaters, traveled the world forcefully "cleansing the sins" of others, by judging and distributing appropriate punishment. Lead by Tlazol, a faceless human from the south, the Sin Eaters collected in the wake of the Gods deaths prepared to cleanse the sins of the world. They stand for purity and rebirth as Amascut did, but are not always the most rational, as purity is foremost on their minds at all times.
Unique Unit: TBD
