[nospaces] Turn 5: Pentember, Year 100 [break] [attr="class","armadyl-container"] [break] The Kingdom of Logres [break] [attr="class","armadyl"] All goes smoothly. The men from Greater Catherby (126 , 108 , 107 , 78 ) return to Camelot, while your other armies make progress towards CAM and SSL, respectively. On that note: The Seers were unable to reach a consensus on whether or not to accept your offer of alliance. Some Seer leaders considered an alliance a pact between two equal parties, and they feared they had little to contribute in comparison to your mighty kingdom. Others felt that relations were just moving too quickly. As such, they decline your gift of 250 . Your Reputation does not suffer for your proposition. [break][break] Though your armies can march into SSL without reproach, your scouts are not set up there and it'd take them too long to return to your lands with relevant information. Once the force marching to SSL arrives there, scouting will be more feasible. [break][break] Project Sawblade does not advance a phase this month. [break][break] Corrections: [break][break] - You should have 400 remaining.
- You should be spending 1,000 , though 1,500 is the correct final total.
- If you're selling 500 , add 1,500 to extra income (after the taxes section). It's simpler to calculate all Gold gained/spent in the same turn, rather than the turn after; assume the other party always accepts your sale once the Trade Agreement is established. If they run out of money/goods, they'll let you know or cancel it. In the case of offering resources as a Gift, subtract them from your bookkeeping in the month you propose the Gift; if they decline, you can add the resources back in next month.
[break] Please edit these corrections in before writing your next turn. [newclass=.armadyl-container]width:824px; border:1px solid #000000; background-color:#778899; border-radius:10px; padding-bottom:20px;[/newclass] [newclass=.armadyl]background-color:#ffffff; border-top:1px solid #000000; border-bottom:1px solid #000000; padding-top:5px; padding-left:5px; padding-right:5px; padding-bottom:5px;[/newclass] [break] [attr="class","bandos-container"] [break] Rhynoc Tribe of the Frozen North [break] [attr="class","bandos"] Congratulations on your victory in MAM! Your construction of Roads begins, your other construction continues, and Project Thick Skull doesn't advance a stage this turn. Your scouts will get your reports to you soon™.
[newclass=.bandos-container]width:824px; border:1px solid #000000; background-color:#074d00; border-radius:10px; padding-bottom:20px; color:white;[/newclass] [newclass=.bandos]background-color:#ffffff; border-top:1px solid #000000; border-bottom:1px solid #000000; padding-top:5px; padding-left:5px; padding-right:5px; padding-bottom:5px; color:black[/newclass] [break] [attr="class","despan-container"] [break] East Gielinor Trading Company [break] [attr="class","despan"] Your engineers get to work building your siege engines and reports from your diplomats and scouts are sent back to you. [break][break] Sadly, Project Gotta Catch 'Em All does not advance a phase. On a better note, your people discover a savant of incredible talent; a Prodigy has been born! Give a name to this new face and determine his or her role in your realm. [break][break] Corrections: [break][break] - You should have 1,800 .
[break] Please edit this correction in before writing your next turn. [newclass=.despan-container]width:824px; border:1px solid #000000; background-color:#ff6600; border-radius:10px; padding-bottom:20px;[/newclass] [newclass=.despan]background-color:#ffffff; border-top:1px solid #000000; border-bottom:1px solid #000000; padding-top:5px; padding-left:5px; padding-right:5px; padding-bottom:5px;[/newclass] [break] [attr="class","saradomin-container"] [break] The Kingdom of Brantia [break] [attr="class","saradomin"] Your armies reach their destinations. Having received a response from Chuckles, your army is not surprised to see a mighty warhost of Pastelle gathered in the Draynor Woods. Time to fight.[break][break] You also receive a response from the head of the Savon Clan: Your offer for a Trade Agreement has been approved! Additionally, a Prodigy has been discovered in Siegrand! Give a name to this new face and show us what he or she will become. [break][break] Project Tithes does not advance a phase. [newclass=.saradomin-container]width:824px; border:1px solid #000000; background-color:#0f68ed; border-radius:10px; padding-bottom:20px;[/newclass] [newclass=.saradomin]background-color:#ffffff; border-top:1px solid #000000; border-bottom:1px solid #000000; padding-top:5px; padding-left:5px; padding-right:5px; padding-bottom:5px;[/newclass] [break] [attr="class","seren-container"] [break] Children of the Lost Voice [break] [attr="class","seren"] The progress of the elves continues! Well, except for Project Poison Labs, which does not advance.
[newclass=.seren-container]width:824px; border:1px solid #000000; background-color:#00bfff; border-radius:10px; padding-bottom:20px;[/newclass] [newclass=.seren]background-color:#ffffff; border-top:1px solid #000000; border-bottom:1px solid #000000; padding-top:5px; padding-left:5px; padding-right:5px; padding-bottom:5px;[/newclass] [break] [attr="class","zamorak-container"] [break] The Free People of Morytania [break] [attr="class","zamorak"] Your army begins its march to North Myre, preceded by your Corpse Corps. Both Corpse Corps divisions will send their reports to you post-haste. Also, your first Project advances a phase, thanks to Mumm'Rha's efforts.
[newclass=.zamorak-container]width:824px; border:1px solid #000000; background-color:#e80f0f; border-radius:10px; padding-bottom:20px;[/newclass] [newclass=.zamorak]background-color:#ffffff; border-top:1px solid #000000; border-bottom:1px solid #000000; padding-top:5px; padding-left:5px; padding-right:5px; padding-bottom:5px;[/newclass] [break] [attr="class","zaros-container"] [break] The Third Zarosian Empire [break] [attr="class","zaros"] Congratulations on claiming Eagles' Peak! The resources obtained go towards your new construction, and while you've paid for your Prodigy's training, it can be put on hold until... well, whenever you want. Your scouts send you information on West Ardougne, but your diplomatic negotiations... don't do so well. The faction in charge of West Ardougne has declined your Client State proposal! Better try something else. [break][break] Project Muspah Dawn does not advance a phase this month. [break][break] Corrections: [break][break] - Where is the army of 15 | 20 | 30 | 60 | 31 | 13 marching from? Please include the starting region under BATTLES & MOVEMENT; it is crucial for determining journey length. See others' turn posts for reference.
- If you've discovered an NPC faction in West Ardougne, list it under Diplomacy. Remember, all you need to do for discovery is to scout a region they own.
[break] Please edit these corrections in before writing your next turn. [newclass=.zaros-container]width:824px; border:1px solid #000000; background-color:#4d007f; border-radius:10px; padding-bottom:20px; color:white[/newclass] [newclass=.zaros]background-color:#ffffff; border-top:1px solid #000000; border-bottom:1px solid #000000; padding-top:5px; padding-left:5px; padding-right:5px; padding-bottom:5px; color:black[/newclass] [break]
[break] Note: All scouting reports/NPC responses will be slightly delayed. I've got most of them done, but still need info from Siroki on some of them. You can begin planning your next moves without this information if you wish. [break][break] More Notes:[break][break] - I've updated the Paragons section in regards to Paragon movement. Basically, only the Champion and Spymaster ever need to move, and only the Champion will ever move like a normal army; when he's attached to one. Otherwise, everything they do is instantaneous. Diplomats and Inventors need to be assigned to work with a specific faction or Project for their benefits to apply.
- All siege engines and ships take 1 to build, just like regular units (which you guys have been doing! Excellent). Just a heads-up, though, I've updated that in the Military section. You can queue as many as you wish, but only the max per turn number will be processed each turn (same as recruiting more than 500 land units at once).
- There's some people scouting the same regions multiple times, in hopes of finding more information. To provide the most important information the first time, Siroki developed a template that looks similar to this:
Owner: Approximate Strength: Notable Features: Available Resources:
Description:
If you scout a region and you receive a report in that format, scouting it again won't reveal anything new. The only time you'd scout a previously scouted region again is if some time has passed, and you have reason to believe either the owner or the military strength of the region has changed. Otherwise, it's just extra work for the GM. - The Post Quarantine system - which hid all new posts created on this board - has a few pretty serious flaws that render it useless. As such, it will be disabled. This main game thread will still be for turn posts and gameplay-related comments only, like corrections or asking questions about bookkeeping. It will be heavily moderated to keep it clean.

High Chronicles of the Third Kingdom of Camelot -- Fentuary, 7A100 The people of Wolfchester industriously collect 1400 , 800 , 800 , 400 , 500 , and 100 as well as paying 2400 in taxes. Project Sawblade continues. A Scoutship and a Transport are constructed in CAM.
Another 140 of each standard type of ground soldier has been dispatched to SSL, along with another 90 . The new Scoutship, christened R.L.S. Grasshopper, has been dispatched to scout HMS and make contact with its inhabitants if possible.
The Pendragon has offered 500 to the Seers in exchange for a Research Agreement.

Serenite Realm - Turn 6 - Fentuary, Y100 Chapter 1: It's time It has come to my attention that many of you are complaining about the long distances between our holdings. You have a point - I want our Realm to be united, and that includes proper accessibility to all of its reaches. Therefore, I would like to start the construction of roads in Port Tyras; work on roads in Seren Song will commence soon, too. That is 3,000 of the 4,800 we'll have after the monthly harvest; we're also projected to gain 1,300 , 800 , 500 and 500 . We'll save income from taxes, seeing as we need that for something important next month.
Now, with all that work being done on our new acquisition, Port Tyras, it is important to make sure it is not susceptible to attack. I want scouts to go into The Reclamation to the south and tell me what they find. The Dark Elves tell us it is a watery and fertile land, which sounds promising. Hence, I want it for ourselves.
Oh, also: can somebody tell those gnomes to hurry up already with their research? And tell them that if they don't find the High Apothecary's ways persuasive enough, I'll come in there and show them what motivation really looks like.
Ugh.
Move out!
RESOURCES | 4,000 + 1,300/1,300 + 0 - 0 = 5,300 | 4,000 + 800/800 + 0 - 3,000 = 1,800 | 5,000 + 800/800 + 0 - 0 = 5,000 | 4,200 + 500/500 + 0 - 0 = 4,200 | 2,500 + 500/500 + 0 - 0 = 3,000 | 0 + 0/0 + 0 - 0 = 0

Unguis, with Roads completed in CAM, your new army moving to SSL will only need 1 . Just remember: Never include the destination region, since movement is only concerned with regions you move THROUGH. So you include the starting region, which is the only one that needs Roads in this case.

It will take many years of intensive training and subsidies from the Company to achieve mastery, although it is as of yet unknown as to what this boy will become. Current speculation leads to being a Diplomat, in light of the current desert political situation, although other theorists argue for the Inventor. More on this story on Page 4. The Board of Seven has dispatched all Bombardiers, Knights, and Baliistae that currently are in Kaledam to destroy the menace to the Desertling culture, prosperity, and way of life. Due to the improvements in the Roads of the region, the Kaledam Combined Armed Forces will arrive next turn, where they shall battle down the Apes in order to save Kaledam. Surprisingly, though, all cannons, battering rams, and even Eli Morrisane have been dispatched to Morrisane Pass, the complete opposite direction. Could Demirayak be planning an offensive? The Emir in Al-Kharid, our Mother Country has vanished, to be replaced by an unknown Caliph, proclaiming himself a son of Tumeken. To the North of them is the Mysterious "Pastelle", a Northern Godsgrave Hegemony that is apparently the Enemy of the Desert. Who shall Kaledam pick? Find out more on page 7. [attr="class","left-row-3"] Mass Disappearance of Pollnivneans The Pollnivneans came to Kaledam after the surrender at Morrisane Pass whining and crying. But while they were welcomed in Kaledam, who could blame them for wanting to go home to their families? But over the course of the Month of Fentuary, mysterious disappearances of the Pollnivnean Ugthanki Corps occurred almost each night growing and growing in number until the entire corps has vanished. Could this be some malevolent plot? Find out more on page 9. [attr="class","right-row-3"] Intellectuals Continue Secrecy The formerly-vocal kitaji of the Kitaji Institute of Scabaritic Arts has gone silent. After they received their project from the EGTC headquarters, and a rather hefty sack of lazules to go with it, all of the critiques of philosophy and treatises of science have ground to a halt, and Kitaji are rarely seen outside the building for any more than an hour. The Rhynoc tribe of the Frozen North
1,000 wood, 1,000 stone, 900 metal, 500 cloth and 500 hides are gathered. 100 swordsmen begin training at Frostbite point while the 100 swordsmen , 100 rhynoc fighters and 200 mages are to move to Mammoth strip to meet up with the group of troops with Sigurd. The port here at FrostBite point and the Roads at kyatt glacier should be finished by the end of this month. And yet another construction project begins and it is roads for our very capital.

The Third Zarosian Empire
A friendly reminder that our grand feast will be held in the next month!
Our marketplace is open to visits from sellers from around the globe! The dedication will be held after the first transaction at the market. People are more than welcome to visit for the dedication, and are invited to bring stories to share with the crowd!
On to the military end of things, now. Forces to the north will gather at the northern border, and continue to keep the land secure. As for the Sidewalk and its visitors, they will remain in place. Andreus gave me his report, and I believe it is time for us to speak with the leaders of the Carnillean Lands. Andreus in turn is focusing his attention on them, and will be speaking with them soon.
We will send another gift to Edgar Muntz.
Per Andreus' inquiry into the history of Saint Azzanadra, I would like to poll the opinions of the populous on the matters of reparations for our predecessors actions. This has yet to be completed, and in lieu of it, I will ask the council once more for their input.
A voting station will be created in the proper location, and will be closed when the Fall Equinox arrives.

Speaking of telling, boy did I find out some troubling...Oh there I go again! Zaros above! Rid me of these incessant questions! Dictum Meum Pactum

[break][break] The battle for Draynor Woods was fierce indeed, and without the intervention of Pastelle, we would've surely been defeated! I extend my heartfelt thanks to Chuckles and all the leaders of the mighty nation for their assistance, and hope that future opportunities to work together present themselves. In an effort to foster further relations, Pastelle I offer 1,000 as a gift. [break][break] I'd also like to thank Madame Savon for her willingness to work with us. We'll begin trading immediately by selling 300 . [break][break] As for the matter of the captured Kinshra, I'll keep them in Draynor Woods for now, closely guarded. I want to know several things; a list will be sent to my interrogator. As for Madrilonna... if this tree spirit is being hunted, then, like anyone who comes to us for protection, we shall offer it if we can. She is welcome to return to Siegrand, safe from the clutches of those who would claim her. [break][break] The Captain-General will stay in Blutig for now. I'll not march unprepared into another fight with the chickens, especially since we still don't know where Cockscomb is hiding. However, I see we have a new Prodigy! I recognize this man; Richard Reed is his name. I knew his parents well. I'll need to save our Gold to pay for the proper training he needs, so no recruitment will be done this month. Instead, 100 , 50 , 80 , 50 , 80 , 50 , and 40 will march to Blutig from Draynor Woods; this will take 3 . [break][break] Domestically, I'll begin construction of a Port on the southern coast of South Asgarnia and a Fabric Mill in Draynor Woods. Thorlah, the only thing I notice right now is you should add the West Ardougne faction under Diplomacy. I don't know what it's officially called... I'd just go with "The People of West Ardougne", lol. You have 0 Reputation with them, as well as 0 with the Carnillean faction. All newly discovered factions start at 0. You shouldn't have any active treaties with the Carnilleans, since you just discovered them!

(And unless I mistyped, it shouldn't say we have anything, just that we're making contact. This is what I get for doing a turn post at 2AM.)

The Free People of MoryTania
As the months pass by Lord Lestor prepares for the new tasks at hand. As the Spy Den nears completion and a list of the more experience scouts needs to be trimmed down to find members for the Den. All around them, the Stone wall Encompasses Most of the Entire City. Many labor camps are set around the walls to help construct it. At this rate, it will be completed in no time. Ever since the campaign started the city has grown more prosperous. More victories would add to the prosperity and so far the Citizens are living in high spirits. The research project led by The New Advisor continues. The Army led by, The Captain, continues it course. His advisors continue to gather resources as followed 1,000 Wood, 1000 Stone, 800 Metal, 500 Hide and 400 Cloth. The 1st Corpse Corps goes to North Myre for more investigation. The 2nd Corpse Corps goes to The Rott for scouting.

[nospaces] Turn 6: Fentuary, Year 100 [break] [attr="class","armadyl-container"] [break] The Kingdom of Logres [break] [attr="class","armadyl"] The R.L.S. The desert sands are sure to be stained red with both human and primate blood. Until then, however, it seems that nothing much happens. Project Gotta Catch 'Em All does not advance a phase. Also, because you exchanged goods with Pollnivneach, they are pleased; you gain +5 Reputation with them.
[newclass=.despan-container]width:824px; border:1px solid #000000; background-color:#ff6600; border-radius:10px; padding-bottom:20px;[/newclass] [newclass=.despan]background-color:#ffffff; border-top:1px solid #000000; border-bottom:1px solid #000000; padding-top:5px; padding-left:5px; padding-right:5px; padding-bottom:5px;[/newclass] [break] [attr="class","saradomin-container"] [break] The Kingdom of Brantia [break] [attr="class","saradomin"] The Nation of Pastelle accepts your Gift, earning you +10 Reputation. Additionally, trade with the Savon Clan has earned +5 Reputation with them. [break][break] Your interrogator returns with answers from the captured Kinshra in Draynor Woods. Madrilonna gratefully accepts your offer, yet she does not wish to stay for free. She can contribute like every Brantian, using her beauty and mastery of speech as an Ambassador, if you would have her! [break][break] Project Tithes advances a phase! Its first Component is now fully complete.
[newclass=.saradomin-container]width:824px; border:1px solid #000000; background-color:#0f68ed; border-radius:10px; padding-bottom:20px;[/newclass] [newclass=.saradomin]background-color:#ffffff; border-top:1px solid #000000; border-bottom:1px solid #000000; padding-top:5px; padding-left:5px; padding-right:5px; padding-bottom:5px;[/newclass] [break] [attr="class","seren-container"] [break] Children of the Lost Voice [break] [attr="class","seren"] Construction begins in Port Tyras, and your scouts return with information on the Reclamation (TRC). Unfortunately, your chastising does not help the gnomes complete their work. Perhaps you'll have better luck next month!
[newclass=.seren-container]width:824px; border:1px solid #000000; background-color:#00bfff; border-radius:10px; padding-bottom:20px;[/newclass] [newclass=.seren]background-color:#ffffff; border-top:1px solid #000000; border-bottom:1px solid #000000; padding-top:5px; padding-left:5px; padding-right:5px; padding-bottom:5px;[/newclass] [break] [attr="class","zamorak-container"] [break] The Free People of Morytania [break] [attr="class","zamorak"] Indeed, your construction goes well. However, since your scouts were delayed in getting their information to you last month, your army moving to North Myre decided to camp for longer than normal, giving them an opportunity to turn back if you command it. If you wish them to continue into North Myre, they will begin their battle next month, as planned. [break][break] Despite Mumm'Rha's contribution, your Project does not advance a phase.
[newclass=.zamorak-container]width:824px; border:1px solid #000000; background-color:#e80f0f; border-radius:10px; padding-bottom:20px;[/newclass] [newclass=.zamorak]background-color:#ffffff; border-top:1px solid #000000; border-bottom:1px solid #000000; padding-top:5px; padding-left:5px; padding-right:5px; padding-bottom:5px;[/newclass] [break] [attr="class","zaros-container"] [break] The Third Zarosian Empire [break] [attr="class","zaros"] Things proceed as planned in the West. Your diplomats turn their attention to the Carnilleans, but aren't quite sure what to say! Also, they are not aware which gift you'd like to present. Both of these things can be corrected, however, and no time will be lost. Since your Ambassador is assigned to work with the Carnilleans, he's able to improve your Reputation with them by 3. [break][break] On a better note, Project Muspah Dawn advances a phase!
[newclass=.zaros-container]width:824px; border:1px solid #000000; background-color:#4d007f; border-radius:10px; padding-bottom:20px; color:white[/newclass] [newclass=.zaros]background-color:#ffffff; border-top:1px solid #000000; border-bottom:1px solid #000000; padding-top:5px; padding-left:5px; padding-right:5px; padding-bottom:5px; color:black[/newclass] [break]
[break] Note: All scouting reports/NPC responses will be slightly delayed. Should be shorter than last turn, hopefully around an hour. [break][break] To Urzanko: Since I forgot to send you the scouting reports last turn, I'm giving you a chance to have your army turn back from North Myre and begin marching home. It'll take them only 1 to reach South Myre. If you don't want to turn around, the battle will begin this new turn, as expected. [break][break] To Thorlah: List the Carnillean faction below West Ardougne in your Diplomacy section; see my turn post for reference. Also, send me a message with what you were proposing, and what kind of Gift you were offering (if it's resources, please reflect that in your bookkeeping), and I'll edit the MR; that's all your section is saying.

The Free People of MoryTania
Word is sent to the army to the north to continue it's march. With the Spy Den completed, There first mission is an Observation mission at The Rott, the key targets to observe are the interesting people said to be habiting the area. The scouting reports and an anticipating battle makes the air thick with tension. Only time will tell what comes out of this. Meanwhile, the research project led by The New Advisor continues. Lord Lestor's advisors continue to gather resources as followed 1,000 Wood, 1000 Stone, 800 Metal, 500 Hide and 400 Cloth. [break] [attr="class","left-row-2"] Troops Move East The War on the West has been broiling, but why have our soldiers been moved to the east. Last Month, Bombardier General Demirayak, who now refuses any resposibility or connections to the Massacre at the Haga Highlands, blaming an anonymous Brigadier for the bloody action, ordered cannons, soldiers, and even Eli Morrisane to the Morrisane Pass, and now they march further east to Uzer, instead of pulling back into Kaledam to fight off the primate menace. It is clear Demirayak and the Board have plans, but as to what those plans are is unclear, although some speculate that it's to procure more resources for the war effort. Find out more on Page 7. [attr="class","middle-row-2"] [break] An Unwanted War. The Rash actions of the Board of Seven and the KCAF in the Haga Highlands have lead to the wholsesale slaughter of hundreds of settlers, as well as invoking the wrath of the Ape Atoll Expeditionary Force. However, the council, while scrambling and order the construction of the Fortress in the region, as well as a Lumber Mill, does not regret the soldier's actions. Executive Marcus Geurreiro stated on the matter, "The Monkeys were hostile to our group first, and they were infidels. And then, the Monkey leader threatened further hostile action. We were in the right with this one. The world must know that Kaledam is strong, and will not bow to mere beasts." No Further comment has been given on the matter by the Board of Seven, however the Kitaji have been declaring the Monkeys Infidels and Enemies of Tumeken. [attr="class","right-row-2-bottom"] Dark Morrisane Empire? Many months ago, the Morrisane Pass was conquered from the grasp of the Morrisane Family, as their first act of the Kaledam Combined Armed Forces under the EGTC. Since then, it has become clear that the reasoning for the forces secession of Kaledam from the parent-nation of Al-Kharid was due to the closing of the Shantay and Morrisane Passes, likely responsible by the Morrisane Family. Why are we working with this group? Find out our suspicions on page 6. [attr="class","left-row-3"] Morrisanian Days Trade with the Morrisanian Family in Pollnivneach has lead to more wood production, which the government has promised will lead to completing renovations in Kaledam, as well as increased expansion for the EGTC. But it is unclear what the Morrisanian aims are, or what the political climate in Pollnivneach is. Regardless, the EGTC has renewed the trading agreement with Pollnivneach, and has sent more diplomats to the region. [attr="class","right-row-3"] Government Continues Army Recruitment Vast amounts of Army Recruitment have been taking place over the past few months with taxes and loot from conquered regions. This month alone, 270 Mages have been recruited, both from the crop at the Jadi Tower and from barracks in Kaledam. The Jinshu Siege Assembly Centre has run out of metal, only managing to produce three annons. Anonymous Sources from within the Viziers state that these soldiers are slated to go to the Highlands in the following month. Could the Board be scared? An increase in wood production, more taxes, and the boon of several resources looted from Haga have lead to a booming market, despite the recent robbery from the Altin Lazule Refinery. It isn't all good news, though, as a metal shortage now plagues the empire, particularly hurting the Jinshu Family's production quotas this season. More on page 4. The Third Zarosian Empire Our grand feast, planned for this month, has been sadly postponed, due to inclement weather. The committee has slated the up-coming months as the planned time-table, but no official word yet.
On to the military end of things, now. Forces to the north will gather at the northern border, and continue to keep the land secure. As for the Sidewalk and its visitors, they will remain in place. Andreus gave me his report, and I believe it is time for us to speak with the leaders of the Carnillean Lands. Andreus is visiting with them, with no political intent, for personal matters, but has assured me that he'll mention our kind intentions.
Although I do have my father's well-known archive of old era things, I'd like to not deplete them all right away. Edgar Muntz will be instead given a finely-crafted statue, made at the cost of 200 .
Due to the recent spate of bad weather, Andreus' report on the Betrayal of Icthlarin by the Mahjarrat, a stirring piece, has been rendered unreadable, and since he has to restart from scratch, we will delay the polling as well.
May brighter futures await us. RESOURCES | 3500+ 1000/1000 + 0 - 1700 = 2800 | 8800+ 900/900 + 0 - 200 = 9500 | 9600+ 900/900 + 0 - 0 = 10,500 | 4000+ 600/600 + 0 - 1700 = 2900 | 6000+ 500/500 + 0 - 0 = 6500 | 0 + 0/0 + 0 - 0 = 0

Serenite Realm - Turn 7 - Septober, Y100 Chapter 2: A small reclamation Well, well, well... first elves to the west, and now gnomes to the east? Our Realm is turning into a veritable melting pot, isn't it?
I want the Reclamation, but we can't afford bloodshed right now. Therefore, I wish to establish peaceful diplomatic relations with the gnome inhabitants. Send an envoy and tell them that we mean them no harm, and that we wish to open talks between our peoples. Send them 1,000 to commemorate our new acquaintance. Ask them if we can establish an embassy in their land. And let them know that while our dealings are proceeding, the adventurous among them are welcome to travel to Port Tyras and Seren Song.
I suppose it is fortunate that they were unaware of us heretofore. You know, considering our previous... rapport with gnomes.
Speaking of them, I have a strong suspicion that the Tippwix twins may originally have come from the Reclamation colony. Send for them - I wish to ask them everything they know about the colony. If they are refugees, they will be eager to tell me for they will have some reason to harbour resentment towards the other gnomes. And if they left voluntarily, the Tippwixes should know that I wish the gnomes of the Reclamation no ill will and that they will be free to leave Seren Song and settle over there once it is part of the Realm. Their knowledge of the place could prove vital in our dealings with this new party. Our conversation will be kept private*, of course.
Now on to more mundane matters. Well, not so mundane actually! I received word that the port in Port Tyras has finished construction (it should have just been called Tyras before, I suppose). That is excellent news, for it is our first step towards rediscovering our ancient capital. On clear days, I can see it from my bedroom window, a blurred outline across the ocean. We will get it back, my elves, you have my word.
And I always keep my word.
We shall collect 1,300 , 800 , 800 , 500 and 500 **. 5,000 and 2,000 will go into equipping the barracks in Seren Song with Improved Billets, which should take only one . The rest we'll save. Our , however, will be well-spent this season. We have enough now (10,000) to develop the brilliant Tippwix twins into truly prolific Inventors for our realm! They are to start immediately - this money should be enough for them to give their genius free reign and develop into the foremost scholars of all Seren Song. It'll also be used to build their very own lab, so they don't have to work among the High Apothecary's horrid fumes anymore. In 4 or so, they should be ready to represent our collective drive forward.
(And if only they could get a move on with that thrice-damned project!)
Oh, let's use our remaining 500 to recruit 25 at Port Tyras.
All right, elves. Move out!
*meaning send me a private message with the results ^.^ **I have amended some mistakes from my previous turn, where I forgot to up my resource counts for metal and cloth.

Just a quick heads-up, guys.
I don't know how many use the Preview Editor primarily, but there are a few things that it can "break". Fortunately, most of these breaks can be avoided by switching to the BBCode tab, then switching back to the Preview tab at the bottom of the Editor. Do this before you hit Create Post/Save Changes. Also, do this especially if you're putting spaces before icons, like the resource or unit icons.
One thing that will definitely NOT work in the Preview Editor is the div tags that are used in Lime's and my turn posts, for example. If you want to use these tags, you'll have to work exclusively in the BBCode Editor.

[nospaces] Turn 7: Septober, Year 100 [break] [attr="class","armadyl-container2"] [break] The Kingdom of Logres [break] [attr="class","armadyl"] Project Sawblade continues on one more stage.[break][break] Your troops are en-route to western woods. This method, while obviously an outrage, will increase regional taxes by +100, Market by +120, and if for some dumb reason your people feel like paying more taxes (Such as in a random event) they will pay an extra 200![break][break]You hear back from Pastelle’s leader… Madrilonna, though exhausted from her ordeal in Draynor Woods, graciously makes her way to Pastelle to help bring them to your side. High Chronicles of the Third Kingdom of Camelot -- Ire of Phyrrus, 7A100 The people of Wolfchester industriously collect 1400 , 800 , 800 , 400 , 500 , and 100 as well as paying 2400 in taxes. Project Sawblade continues. The Head of Military Industry, Edmund Trafey, has set about upgrading the barracks in CAM with Improved Billets.
The northern Scoutship (R.L.S. Mosquito) is dispatched to scout WMH and make contact with any inhabitants. The southern Scoutship (R.L.S. Grasshopper) is dispatched to scout WCH and make contact with its inhabitants.
The Pendragon wishes to tell the Guardians of Armadyl that the 1000 troops arriving in MGW are there to help them defeat their foe, not to capture their land. He also wishes to see if they are willing to make some sort of Trade Agreement. A gift of 400 is sent to the Seers' Village to commemorate four months of trade. In addition, the Logrean troops in SSL seek to (unless the seers dislike the idea) integrate themselves into the town, while still remaining Logrean soldiers on guard for foes. Scouts are to make contact, through SSL, with the Khazard Army in HMS with the Scoutship gone. Questions (though not impertinent and offensive) as to how they and the Guardians come to claim the settlement are pitched to the leaders of both forces respectively in HMS.

Bombardier-General Demirayak has made another success, this time in the Province of Uzer. Inhabited by Helldogs from another plane and controlled by a mysterious demon named Kali, Demirayak managed to break down the walls of Uzer and the soldiers in the region overcame the helldogs. Eli Morrisane managed to best Kali in a final duel, although was injured severely by an arrow during the battle. He shall begin to heal from his wounds in the region. However, scouts have been seen to go north from Uzer and south from Haga, as well as movement of 270 mages from Kaledam to Haga. What could this mean? [attr="class","middle-row-2"] [break] The Port of Kaledam will be reopened once more! The Board of Seven has ordered the Epiteze family, who have completed work on the Haga Lumbermill and continue work on the Fortress of Haga, to renovate the port. Since the Failed Sack of Kaledam in Year 93 of the Seventh Age, the Port of Kaledam has been a run-down port with masses of sunken merchant vessels crowding its vicinity. The Epitezes have stated that the sunken ships will be salvaged, for what little material they have, and the port will be expanded, repaired, and modified with shipbuilding capabilities. Find out more on page 3. [attr="class","right-row-2-bottom"] Preachings Increase The Kitaji from the Kitajami have been increasing in the amount of preaching they are giving, and in the religious fervor of their sermons. In the past, they would only speak of the strength and grace, and wisdom of Tumeken, the judgement of Icthlarin, the Might of Het, but now they speak of nonbelievers, and have been clearly vocal about the monkey infidels to the south. But beyond this, none can agree on precise doctrine. Find out more on page 2. [attr="class","left-row-3"] Scarab Infestation Advice Rises in Scarab infestations across Kaledam have damaged large amounts of the Beggars' Caravnserai and the Guilds Districts, which lends the need to know what to do if a scarab nest infests your home. Firstly, you must poison the nest. The Jadi Tower or the Kisana-Polders have a variety of applicable poisons and pesticides that can be used just by sprinkling on the nest. Secondly, the nest must be removed and burned. Thirdly, send for an Epiteze to inspect the damage, and repair whatever necessary. [attr="class","right-row-3"] To the Sea With the reopening of the Port of Kaledam, it has been wondered as to if the East Gielinor Trading Company intends to build a navy. With the sea comes many possible trading, diplomatic, and colonial opportunities, such as Godsgrave, Asgarnia, Karamja, and the Menaphite Trio. However, this Navy (run by the Rahal Shipping Family) could also prove a crucial part in the War against the Apes, allowing to cut off reinforcements from the Atoll to the Kharidian Expedition. The Board of Seven has set out to hiring plenty of runeforgers for the newfound source in Uzer, as well as hiring new hands for the sawmill in the Haga Highlands. While the Economy continues to grow from conquest and trade, the Metal shortage continues, with the last government stockpile being used to renovate the Port of Kaledam. Loot from Uzer, as well as the trade agreement with Pollnivneach (diplomats have been sent to possible revise this deal) has allowed the recruitment of an all-time high of 495 spearmen. The Third Zarosian Empire
Forces to the north will gather at the northern border, and continue to keep the land secure. As for the Sidewalk and its visitors, they will begin to 'root around' in the forests to the north. Archibald Cleft has done us a terrific service, and all military forces will use our blessing to succeed. Andreus is still visiting with the Carnillieans, with no political intent, for personal matters, but has assured me that he'll mention our kind intentions once more.
Can't deplete the royal stores too much.
100 for a tapestry for Edgar, and a missive that merely states that we wish to unite our forces as brothers in arms.
Due to the recent spate of bad weather, Andreus' report on the Betrayal of Icthlarin by the Mahjarrat, a stirring piece, has been rendered unreadable, and since he has to restart from scratch, we will delay the polling as well.
May brighter futures await us. RESOURCES | 2800+ 1000/1000 + 0 - 0 = 3800 | 8800+ 900/900 + 0 - 0 = 10,400 | 9600+ 900/900 + 0 - 0 = 11,400 | 2900 + 600/600 + 0 - 100 = 3400 | 6500+ 500/500 + 0 - 0 = 7000 | 0 + 0/0 + 0 - 0 = 0

The Free People of MoryTania
The wall is almost complete, and with it, a new defense for his people. Word was sent ahead about the difficulty of acquiring North Myre. Seems that between Vampyres and talking Beastmen, There might not be an end to the amazing amount of diverse allies/enemies in MoryTania. That aside, until the forces return nothing else can be plan.Meanwhile, the research project led by The New Advisor continues. The Advisors continue to gather resources as followed 1,000 Wood, 1000 Stone, 800 Metal, 500 Hide and 400 Cloth. The 1st Corpse Corps goes to North Myre to retrieve bodies. The 2nd Corpse Corps is sent back to The Rott with invitations for the Local paragons to come to a formal meeting to make there acquaintance and see if there services can be acquired. Then a message is sent to Sanguinesti and The Rott asking for a trade of resources, Metal and Hide for Wood.

Serenite Realm - Turn 8 - Ire of Phyrris, Y100 Chapter 2: A small reclamation As it turns out, these southern gnomes are only very recent arrivals. They do not appear to have settled here yet, being more of a scouting force making a foray into a foreign land.
Well, I want Ambassador Vausall to head over there and hear the gnomes' story. Why did they venture into Tirannwn? What did they hope to find? Do they intend to settle here? And where did they come from? I would like to propose that if they do decide to settle here, it'll be a joint (and peaceful) settlement between them and the elves. Of course, since we are currently the dominant force in Tirannwn and have adequate infrastructure in place, we would be the de facto ruler of The Reclamation and it would be incorporated into the Realm. But the gnomes will be able to enjoy all the same benefits. I have a feeling that something... unpleasant chased them away from their home and led them in here. I want them to know they'll be safe if they join the Realm. Also, let's not reveal yet that we have gnomes making our company already. Send the report to me privately, Ambassador. And remember: politely but firmly.
On to the order of the day. Resource influx is 1,300 , 800 , 800 , 500 , 500 and 2,000 . Now, my elves, last season I promised you that we would take to the seas, and so we will. I want a scout ship, transport ship and frigate constructed in Port Tyras, for a total cost of 1,900 , 1,700 and 200 . The scout ship shall be named The Viper, the transport ship The Grenwall, and the frigate The Siren. Seren Song's barracks are now equipped with Improved Billets, which will make recruitment more efficient. Our gold will thus be spent on the recruitment of soldiers. I want Port Tyras to train 50 , 50 , 50 and 50 for a cost of 2,000 . Reports tell me the roads there are completed, which will ease transportation between our holdings and future holdings. Specifically those to the south.
Next season, we will be able to sail for lost Prifddinas. I am also keenly interested in what the gnomes have to say. Time will tell, my elves. It always does.
Move out!

Serenite Realm - Turn 9 - Novtumber, Y100 Chapter 2: A small reclamation Novtumber brings with it magnificant news, my elves. Firstly, the gnomes to our south have granted us permission to traverse their territory and head into the lands to its east, where their king resides. We may be able to persuade him to allow the joint settlement of The Reclamation by elves and gnomes alike. Secondly, the very first Serenite ships have been built! The Viper, Grenwall and Siren are ready to sail out in search of mythical Prifddinas. Reclaiming it is an integral part of our destiny.
Before we move through the Reclamation, I want it scouted again - the gnomes implied that it may not be entirely safe to traverse. Get the scouting report to me posthaste. Next, I want the scout ship Viper to sail out northwards from Port Tyras, from B13 to B12 - this should take 2 . Once it's there, it is to scout out the coast of the capital island. I am curious to see what the sea-spray mists are hiding...
On to domestic matters. Projected resource collection this wonderful Novtumber is 1,300 , 800 , 800 , 500 , 500 and 2,000 . Now, it appears that by inconceivable mistake, the port that Port Tyras already possessed was missed entirely during the region's annexation. Why the dark elves stayed silent about its existence, I cannot begin to know, but as a consequence, we built a brand new port where that wasn't needed. Alas. I'm told we've still managed to salvage some resources from the old docks; 2,500 and 500 and 500 , which is a neat little bonus. Still, I want the ones responsible for mapping the region brought to the High Apothecary's laboratory. I am sure the experience will be... eye-opening for them.
{...}3rd Ire of Phyrris, Year 94 of the Seventh Age Today, I found my perfect right-hand man, the one I had been looking for for months. Of course, Gerillar seemed a worthy candidate at first, but he turned out to be too hot-headed; I can't risk him bungling things one day and get me killed because he lost his temper. Now this man I discovered yesterday, he is much superior; a true man of action. It was late afternoon and I was stretched out on the chaise longue in my command tent, finally done with the day's mind-numbing chain of audiences, pleas and councils. It was the kind of day that has a bright sun that does nothing to heat the land, and a wind that does nothing to move the leaves - in all aspects a wasting, unmoving day. I was just about to uncork my second bottle of dry white Lletya Vintage in an attempt to raise my spirits when I heard bustling outside my tent. There were some commanding shouts, after which one of my oafish guards fell backwards through the flap, his halberd clattering onto the dirt. Over his legs stepped a tall and lanky but remarkably hunched, hooded individual. He made sure to step firmly onto my guard's face with his bare foot before coming to a standstill a metre or two in front of me. The flap was left open, the low afternoon sun casting him as little more than a silhouette. He took a minuscule bow, grinned under his hood, and greeted me with "Venviall Puthrr, at your service my Lady Songstress." Even in speaking such an innocent sentence, his voice reeked of malice and wickedness, further forthified by a horrid, acidic but unidentifiable stench that seemed to seep from his every pore and filled the tent within seconds. Instinctive curiosity drove me to shift in my seat, but I checked myself before I let on too much. I raised an eyebrow and replied. "And what service may that be, friend?" The stranger took another step forward, completely unintimidated. "Why, it's very simple, my lady. I deal in vision." "Appearance?" "Yes, vision." He raised his head a little so I could see. To my astonishment, his eye sockets contained no eyes. Before I could comment on this, however, he continued: "Does my lady care to try a sample? I brought some of my ware with me, you see." I should have known better, but for once in my life curiosity got the better of my vigilance. He was so wrapped in shadow, his voice was so raspy and tattered, his empty sockets so unfathomably deep, that in the completely still air inside my tent he seemed to me death incarnate, sending his putrid tendrils of pestilence and hopeless mortality to every corner of my soul. Light seemed to simply disappear upon its approach of him. I could not help but say, "Come closer then and show me, stranger." "Oh, I do not need to come any closer, your Lady Songstress. My reach extends farther than that." He reached into his robe with a bony hand, and before I knew it, the ground right in front of me exploded with the sound of shattering glass. A plume of toxic green fumes reached three metres high and I saw the ground bubble as if being corroded. As the fumes forced themselves into my nose, they seemed to light my skull on fire and shrivel my lungs. I brought my hands to my temples in extreme pain and collapsed onto my knees and then onto the ground. The world blurred and blurred and was spiralling slowly towards nothingness. I heard him approaching me, all the time cackling hoarsely. But he underestimated my constitution. Somewhere I was still conscious and as he drew a knife from his belt and made ready to lunge, I reached through the fog in my mind and grabbed hold of his leg and pulled violently. He fell flat and I got up, as woozy as I had ever been, but in possession of my mind. I drew my sword and without hesitation slashed at his throat. He managed to curb my death strike with his wrist, and upon sinking into his flesh my sword started to hiss and smoke and I saw it melting before my eyes, dropping it in surprise. The stranger crawled away from me, leaving a trail of blood. He reached into his robe again but with a swift kick to the head I knocked him unconscious. Afterwards, I must have stood panting and coughing for close on half an hour, slowly regaining my senses as the fumes dissipated, before summoning a guard to clap him in irons.
That evening, I visited him in the stockades and asked him if he wished to be my second-in-command. He smiled triumphantly as if that had always been his plan, exposing pointed teeth stained green and purple. "It would be the greatest honour, my Lady Songstress." "Excellent. I could use someone with a reach as long as yours, Venviall Puthrr. But I must ask: what was in that vial?" "Why, it is just as I said, my Lady Songstress. I deal in vision. What was in that vial was exactly what you saw, nothing more, nothing less." He stared at me eyelessly. A freezing chill ran down my spine, but I regained my composure quickly. I saw great potential. I stepped closer and put my hand on his bony shoulder. "Well then, Puthrr. What more can you show me?" And Venviall Puthrr grinned.
I have decided that Port Tyras, being a seaside town, could benefit from a market. I want one constructed for 1,500 and 500 - it should take only 1 . Port Tyras will also recruit 100(cr) and 25 for 2,000 . All other resources are to be stockpiled.
And that is all, I suppose. Move out!
RESOURCES | 1,000 + 1,300/1,300 + 2,500 - 1,500 = 3,300 | 1,400 + 800/800 + 0 - 0 = 2,200 | 7,200 + 800/800 + 500 - 0 = 8,500 | 4,000 + 500/500 + 500 - 500 = 4,500 | 4,000 + 500/500 + 0 - 0 = 4,500 | 0 + 0/0 + 0 - 0 = 0
| 0 + 2,000 + 0 - 2,000 = 0
