[attr="class","zaros-container2"] Operation: Kaggath - Round 3 - [attr="class","zaros"] The Defenders of Ardougne bite back valiantly, but these dogs seem to have lost most of their teeth from their first... chomp... I think... I'll drop that metaphor. First one swordsmen platoon falls, and just as another one and a bunch of archers move to replace him, the other one lies dead on the ground too. The trebuchets and any ranged troops who are firing too far back from the breach for you to see are now properly set up, but it looks as though they'll need to fall back some more - if there were any more melee soldiers, they would've been preventing you from crossing the breach. Their morale continues in freefall, but none surrender. Your own morale drops somewhat as the men try and brute-force their way through the breach (with mixed results). Meanwhile, your Eastern Party searches the ruins. They don't find anything- wait. They've found a few more of Muntz's Army! What's so important that they've got more than 100 men here and not fighting the good fight at West Ardougne? Had Muntz gone completely mad?! And have YOU gone completely mad, commander? Siege Ladders need to be moved by the soldiers who intend on going over them! What do we have here...Forces guarding ruins. Seems the lunatic has either gone farther down the proverbial rabbit hole, or there might be something of value here. Battle for Scorpius - Turn 9 Vipers, you know what to do: knock down both piles of rocks and crush the big daddy scorpion. I want to see a big bowl of juicy scorpion-blood-and-red-boulder gumbo when the dust settles.
Now, for those of you still down there. Sorcerers, move to R15 and assist the swordsmen in finishing off the scorpions at R17. This will create room for our cannons to move to U16, from where they can freely fire at the enemies approaching from O16.
Mages, head to S20, and dark elves to R19. You will both use your magic to blast apart those boulders blocking our way. We need to be able to bring in reinforcements. To prepare for that latter end, I want knights to move to S21, riders to R20, crossbowmen to T20, archers to S22, and spearmen to R21.
Forces: 78 : U21 -> R21 62 : R16 222 : S23 -> S20 84 : S16 -> R15 209 : T21 -> S22 125 : V19 -> T20 83 : R23 -> R20 125 : X21 -> S21 204 : push down boulders 19 (de) (mage): R21 -> R19 10 cannon: S17 -> U16

[attr="class","zaros-container2"] Operation: Kaggath - Round 4 - [attr="class","zaros"] THE BREACH HAS BEEN BREACHED! I REPEAT, THE BREACH HAS BEEN BREACHED! Those archers pull back into the Ardougne Town, leaving the Swordsmen to fend off your troops for the blessed final minutes that they still have. Your troops finish them off, but they do not dare walk forth until you give the command, for fear of bungling your grand strategy. In the meantime, some arrows are rained down upon them from the town. They cheer a bit at this, but then they look on in horror as the landslide keeps going.They try and shout to their compatriots that there is a bunch of falling rock coming. Unfortunately, they're too far up to be heard. FORTUNATELY, the landslide CAN be heard. Your troops look up the mountain, and boldly turn their tails and flee. They wander down a path and watch to their good luck as all the scorpions fall. Hah! So, Congratulations! You have won the Scorpius Region (and also, the easymode battles designed to prevent you from being locked in Tirannwn are over!) Blast, and if only we had snuck over here from the start... The past is in the past. For their skill and their luck, they will be awarded the Azzanadran Cross, along with the Silent Riders. All troops living and deceased are to be given at minimum two Nexian Stripes...save for the foolhardy Sorcerers that triggered a trap. They will not receive a medal for cautious movement. I assume I needn't say why. Now to the key points. Eastern forces are to either form up and create a garrison around the tunnel entrance, or head south with the rest to continue on towards our next target region. Western forces, some of you have the last acts to complete. Those of you within the city walls will complete your assignments, though I feel I must reiterate: IGNORE THE SIEGE WEAPONS. I don't think you'd care what time the King's Reinforcements come if your head is on a pike. Tell your men to stand down, tell the reinforcements that it was a false alarm and the... "bandits" have been dealt with, and turn over the region or else such a future will come to pass.
