Your Riders to the Southeast see the Blinks start running for the centre isle at blistering speed, and, having good foresight, they move to attack them. Your Silent Riders prepare for the blows to retaliate against and... nothing. The Blinks aren't fighting. Your regular riders, also running with the herd, go to attack the Blinks, but despite killing 11, the Blinks don't even fight back. The Blinks are ALL running for the centre formation near your Archers, Spearmen, and Mages, and the Blinks that are already there start singing "Flubchin had a Little Lamb" (badly) and shouting about tea. And running in a circle at blistering pace. Your Spearmen fear to try and stop their run, as they'll just get run over. Regardless, your archers manage to kill an entire formation of 20 Blinks, while your Mages manage to kill another eighteen. Your Crossbowmen, whoa re finally managing to do something useful, successfully kill one blink. After all this, your troops feel a bit better. Oh yeah, and your reinforcements don't arrive for Three Months. Don't count on them. Your Forces dutifully form up a wall to prevent the additional blink from accessing the running grounds. Your Spearmen form a phalanx and your Silent Riders break into two groups in order to hold the line. Their eyes are slammed shut in anticipation of the lethal collision and... they're greeted with the sound of a portal whooshing open and then slamming shut. Turns out, the Blinks just warped around you guys. As your soldiers turn to look at the Great Blink Run, they find disembodied screams and a great big blink-colored blur as the blinks run around and around. Your Mages, Crossbowmen, and Archers fire into this, and 46 of Blinks' Bodies fly out of the circle, face down into the ground. Suddenly, the Big Blink Blur gets sucked towards the centre of the circle, and in a big red flash, they're all gone. A Split-second later, a massive portal opens up from the ground, and a MEGA BLINK forms out of it. It says... Your troops are daunted... and then they look at the MegaBlink again. The good news is, his legs both are already broken, and he's bleeding in multiple places. As a matter of fact, it looks like he has only 27% health left. This bolsters your troops' confidence back up to a cool 50%. Just as you gave out your orders, portals began flying open around the beast, and bombard the MegaBlink with energies! Blinks screams, and your troops watch in awe as the Portals keep ripping open and then closing... and then Blink's screams turn into mad laughter. Finally, the portals stop, and Blink keeps laughing. Your troops steel themselves, as it seems Blink managed to survive the bombardment, but then he cries out... Then Blink explodes into a dark red fluid, showering your troops. At first, they think it's blood, but on closer inspection, it seems to have been wine! A Nice Chianti, from the taste... In any case, Congratulations! You have won the Baxtoria Region! Your spoils are...

Southern battalion: I want the archers to move from I23 to H23; crossbowmen to move from K23 to L23; and vipers to move from I24 to I22.
Western battalion: I want knights to move from D11 to H8; riders to move from D12 to F8; swordsmen to move from C11 to F10; spearmen to move from C12 to E12; sorcerers to move from B12 to D13; archers to move from A12 to D12; and mages and vipers to stay put.
Initially, everyone is to stand guard and wait for the wolves to approach. If the most northwestern troupe crosses the H column, knights will charge at them. Then, if they cross the F column, riders will charge at them too. They should be dead by then, but if they're not, our spearmen will finish them off. The southern battalion is to stand guard entirely and do nothing just yet. The wolves will come closer.

Nevertheless, some Wolves move into the woods and cannot be seen, while others line up near the rocks. This looks like a pretty cut and clear ambush. Almost too easy. Your men can see his muscles tensing, his claws opening and closing, aching to rip something apart. With that declaration, the insane werewolf stamps his feet. From the darkness beyond, the rest of his pack emerges. They're split evenly into two groups. One of the groups moves with incredible speed to your Knights, engaging them. With the element of surprise on their side, they dismount and kill 98 Knights, who manage to kill only 20 Werewolves. The other group stays near Regnar Vluff and seem to be empowered in the presence of his howling and incoherent rambling. Your troops move as ordered, but the Werewolves are quick to react. The group in H9 splits apart, with 100 circling to F12 to attack your Archers. Similarly, 100 move from J12 to J15 to attack your Mages. Here's how everything plays out: - Swordsmen attack Regnar as ordered and severely wound him, leaving him with about 26% Health. He alone retaliates for 50 deaths. The Werewolves with him kill another 25 Swordsmen in H10, but lose 89 of their own.
- Your Archers knock Ragnar down to 14% Health. The Werewolves charge from their flank and kill 79 Archers, who fight back and kill 17 Werewolves.
- In J12, the Werewolves kill another 45 Knights, losing 25 of their own. Your Mages provide support from afar, killing 82 more Werewolves.
- In J14, the Werewolves charge from behind but find it difficult for their claws to shatter the Mages' defensive enchantments. They only manage to kill 17, while your Mages annihilate their flesh, killing 74.
Given the high losses, the Werewolves are visibly shaken, despite Regnar's continued howling. Your men remain steady. Instead, they push even harder, determined to kill as many of your men as they can. Speaking of whom, Regnar roars with fury, on the brink of death, and kills 135 Swordsmen with his dying rage. When the final blade pierces his flesh, he collapses to the ground and spouts his last words: The 61 Werewolves by his side die to your Swordsmen's blades, taking 20 with them. Elsewhere, your Archers finish off the Werewolves in J15. They're attacked by the Werewolves in F12, losing 45 and only managing to retaliate for 7 deaths. Your Mages are out of range of F12, so they can't attack. However, the Werewolves, seeing the death of their Packleader, flee to the western edge and disappear! The only Werewolves who remain, in J12, do their best to kill your Knights: they slay 18, but are finished off in the process. Congratulations! You've conquered the North Myre region. Battle for East Isafdar - Turn 2 These wolves think they can lure us into an ambush, hm? Well think again, wolves. I am going to POUND YOUR SCRAWNY LITTLE WOLF BRAINS INTO AN AM-MUSH! HAHAA!
Southern forces: I want archers to E23, vipers to H23, spearmen to F22, mages to G22, crossbowmen to I24, and I'll move to G24. We're putting up a defensive position, making it hard for the wolves to scatter us. Ranged units, be on your guard and attack any wolves that come close without leaving your position! Spearmen, stand ground, but fend off any wolves that attempt to strike at our weaker units (archers, mages, crossbowmen). Vipers, use your poisonous cocktails on the large groups of wolves coming from the southeast if they approach, though you may also lug them at any wolves prowling from the forests. Maybe split half/half?
Western forces: I want knights to O9 and fast, so they can charge at any wolves entering the O column. Riders, take up position at M9 and guard the M column; ride down if wolves are incoming to push them back. Mages to F12: provide covering fire for those around you. Sorcerers, take up position at D14 and stop any wolves from coming through that gap south of you. I want spearmen to I13 with archers behind them at I12; spearmen, block incoming wolves while the archers cover you from behind. Vipers, head to E13 and provide support for the units around you with your bombs. Finally, swordsmen, head to G14. You are numerous and should be able to hold your own against any wolves.
