[attr="class","bandos-container2"] Battle for Frozen Lake - Auto Resolution - [attr="class","bandos"] Your troops march forward as if in any normal battle - Melee in front, Distance troops in the back. Using this age-old tactic, they take out the wallasaki's lounging around the openings in the ice. Sigurd goes forth and take down ten on his own... Before they realize what they're up against. Up ahead your troops see, what originally thought to be a building-sized boulder, lifts its massive head, revealing it to be the Megawallasaki in the reports. Your troops head towards the beast to begin to take it down - Berserk Rhynocs leading the charge. The giant beast launches a magical blast that hits the rhynocs dead on, and then is confused as to how its targets are still standing. The rest of your army catches up and begins hacking away at the monster. Sigurd watches at first, opting to jump in when his troops begin to struggle. Intently focused on the battle, he suddenly notices the strange sounds of something eating nearby. He looks to the side, where he had left the corpses of the wallasaki's he killed; he finds the massive head of the Narwhal from Mammoth Strip lazily eating the wallasaki's. Eventually the narwhal looks over at Sigurd, who was amazed to see the creature in person. The narwhal finished eating and then returned to the sea. Sigurd turns back to his troops, only to suddenly hear the splash of the narwhal surfacing again. It then pointed its massive horn at the wallasaki and launches a blast of magic at it, dealing great damage with the assistance of your troops. It then retreated to the water again. Despite this, the Megawallasaki continued to fight, and your troops began to struggle. Sigurd took this moment to rush forward. With a running start, he does a massive jump and manages to latch onto his foe, where he proceeded to claw, scrape, and stab at the monster with his horn before letting go. As the fight drew to a close, the wallasaki prepares another powerful magic attack. Your troops, busy with the kill, did not notice until it was far too late to run. The beast launches the massive attack... Only to find your troops have been blocked by a magical shield. As it turns out - the Wallasaki swam to the other side of the lake in order to eat the remaining corpses, and was now lounging its head against the ice, content and full. ... AND FREEZEFRAME! Battle of McGrubor's Wood, Sixth Hour
All Logrean forces retreat for the turn save for 39 from K16. They scatter, to minimise the affects of the beast's spit, and distract the creature from the rest of the army by any means necessary: attacking it, taunting it, shouting, anything to draw its attention. Also, they should never stop moving. If possible, they will also seek to draw it towards beneath the SE pillar. If they are able to do so, the Guardians are to let loose another magical bolt. The Gulega finally has caught on to your ploy, though, and begins thrashing on the ceiling with its long tentacles. What if there were some way to capture this giant Wallasaki, instead of killing it like every other beast? He stepped back from the fighting (not before taking a blast of magic to the face) and tried to figure out if there was any way to do it. There are no ropes available, nor do do they have any fancy spells - and if they did, nothing for something as large as the beast. The best option could be to beat it senseless until it passes out, but then how are they going to cage it? Or would they? Hmmm... He then remembers the horned-whale in the room. Sigurd looks over to the beast and calls out to it. Sigurd, despite his better judgment, asks the Narhwal if there were any way for it to capture the Wallasaki for the Rhynocs. Perhaps in a giant cage, or by making it less aggressive or something. Sigurd waits for the response, knowing his troops will either kill or be killed soon enough. The Narhwal finishes gorging itself, then turns to Sigurd; who sees the dumbest, most simple face he has ever seen in his life. Sigurd sighs in disappointment at this and begins to turn back to his troops. The Narwhal then flicks its horn up and begins to glow blue. Sigurd turns back to see magical chains flying from the tip of the horn at the giant Wallasaki. They surround and magically bind the beast as it begins thrashing about and yelling. Eventually the beast stops struggling and noticeably calms down; just sitting there expectantly looking at Sigurd. Sigurd notices a ghostly hunter standing next to him with a shock. And before any words could be spoken the ghost disappears. ... WELL. CONGRATULATIONS! You have gained the Frozen Lake region! With it you have gained 30 Wallasaki's and the MegaWallasaki. Their information and recruitment method will be detailed in a few months time. Battle for ThornwoodRound 5: Hope You Ordered a Side Dish Both Spearman squads will move up 3 tiles (O9, P9). They are to engage the Experiments there. My Swordsmen will move to N10, then engage the Experiments in N9. Mages will move to N11, Crossbowmen to P11, and begin firing. Archers in U13 will move to V8. As a group, all Archers will do as much damage to the penguin assassin as they can. The Riders in V12 will move to T5 and engage her as well. Crown Infantry, use Sanctuary and engage the penguin in J13. Chicken allies: Move to M13. If you can reach the penguin, attack; if not, that is... unfortunate. I will move the C.S.R up to N12. Cornflake, you can do as you please, but tell me how close we need to get it. [attr="class","sara-container2"] Battle for Thornwood - Turn 5 Resolution - [attr="class","sara"] The chicken high-tails it to the tower - pulling out a tinderbox while trying to light it. Your troops head forward to begin taking out the rats, who have been otherwise docile since the battle began. Cockscomb then decides to throw a fireball into the pit in order to scare the rats, causing them to flood to the entrance. In their frightened state, they begin attacking your troops. That doesn't mean that they still weren't a pushover, and you bring them down to less then half. In the meantime your two brigades go up against the assassins. Both of them shoot at the oncoming troops first, then again at the distance troops. Penglet takes 18% damage, where Pengtrushka takes 30%. Before your troops could react, the two assassins disappear in large smokescreens. Due to time constraints, this battle will be FREEZEFRAMED for the turn post. [attr="class","seren-container2"] Battle for The Reclamation - Prelude - [attr="class","seren"] Your troops arrive via the cliffs into the den of the goblins. Indeed, the creatures are somewhat similar to a classic goblin, but they sport unusual features and aren't quite the same shape. Either way, they're oblivious to your troops. [attr="class","arma-container2"] Battle for Wormhook - Turn 3 Resolution - [attr="class","arma"] Your troops line up and wait to see who the oncoming army is. Expecting hundreds and hundreds of troops having to man such a ship, your soldiers are surprised to see only four people disembark.
